This listing is for a vintage Zuni ring made of sterling silver and turquoise. This very fine handcrafted ring is a highly sought after Zuni design. The face of the ring is a thick round slab of silver that was curved to hug the finger. Needle point turquoise stones along with perfectly poured silver droplets surround the outer edge of the face. This outer row of stones teeter off the edge of the dark oxidized face along with the droplets. Moving towards the center, twisted rope borders the outer row of stones along with another row of stones circling a single center stone. The stones have a light greenish blue color that pops off the dark oxidized silver creating a great sense of depth and dimension. All 41 stones are the original stones from when the ring was made. They reside in finely etched sawtooth bezels, in great condition, with the exception of 1 outer row stone with a small piece missing from one end (SEE ALL PHOTOS). This particular stone is still very secure in its setting just like the rest.. Truly a stunning piece made by an unknown Zuni Artist. The back of the ring carries a sterling stamp that has worn off in the middle and one initial is visible, C. The band is made from a single shank, which is thick, sturdy, and in perfect round shape. High quality silver was used to make this piece, therefore its very solid. This will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry and a MUST HAVE for any avid collector….
