This spectacular turquoise and sterling silver was most likely made in an Australian jewellery artisans workshop as a one-off piece. It has all the appearance of having been made in the 1960s and is very much styled in the Modernist manner. It comprises five large tear-drop links set with natural turquoise of lively shades and interesting veining. It is not marked; tested to confirm it as being 925 sterling silver. The clasp comprises a similar size square turquoise with backing plate and hidden slot to receive the tongue attachment. The bracelet is in very good vintage condition with no faults or damage to report; just the expected light wear marks.
