Lorraine Waatsa is the leader of the Ondelacy and Weebothee families who are from the Zuni Nation. Her family has been making very fine Zuni jewelry for over 3 generations. They are very sought after and highly collected. This magnificent necklace is completely handworked. The wonderful bright turquoise gemstones are perfect. All are beautifully bezel set even in the bottom of the necklace’s fringe dangles. Back of necklace is stamped LW which is her mark. Tested to solid Sterling Silver. Excellent original vintage condition. Unpolished with deep patina left intact.
