The necklace style and stamp-work is characteristic of pieces crafted by Navajo artisans. The necklace has no hallmarks so it is most likely an Old Pawn piece. IOV hand-etched on the back of the center pendant is the only identifying mark. It is not uncommon for Old Pawn pieces to be unsigned, especially prior to 1950.
