This listing is for a vintage museum quality, Zuni Native American, hand-made Sterling Silver Turquoise Cluster Cuff Bracelet. This piece is older, dating back from as early as the 1940s. Its in excellent vintage condition with its original dark patina and original stones. The bones of the cuff are made up of 3 wide silver shanks. The three shanks gradually come together at the gap where comfort tips were applied on the inside. The triple shank cuff is very solid and sturdy with no give at the gap/opening. (Please know your wrist size and look at the measurements/details closely before purchasing). The design is intricate and symmetrical with each side of the cuff face consisting of matching wing sections. The front face of the cuff contains 45 hand-cut polished stones and is a perfect round sphere that slightly curves inward to hug the wrist. A circular row of fat petite point stones adorn the outer edge of the round face along with superior silver droplets between each one. A large round stone rests at the center of the cuff. It is surrounded by twisted rope and a small circular row of petit point stones. Silver droplets are nestled between each stone while another silver rope engulfs the center design. Between the two circular rows of stones is a circle of raised half moon designs with cutouts in between. The two wing sections carry on the same design using the same technique and consist of 9 petite point stones and 3 snake eye stones each. The Artist Hand carved each stone before placing them in sawtooth bezels. Each stone is different and unique in its own way. There are some with matrix and some without, as well as natural inclusions that accompany a few of the stones. They have the most beautiful rich color for their older age ranging from light and dark blue too several shades of green. Most importantly these stones are completely natural with no stabilization. Truly an authentic and organic work of art! This classic Zuni made piece will make a great addition to your existing Native American collection or it could be the the perfect piece to start one. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Mid Century, late1940s – Early 1960s.
