Vintage Navajo Turquoise & Sterling Squash Blossom Necklace, 1960s. This is a classic late 1960s early 1970s Navajo squash blossom necklace. As you can see, this has lots of nice turquoise with natural matrix, and a large naja with, again, lots of turquoise. The handmade beads are 5/16 in diameter. The tips of the naja are bent up, purposely, I think, to be more comfortable for the ladies to wear. The total length is 23 1/2. Note that a couple beads are dented, but this is not obvious, and the worst one is hidden under the naja. You wouldn’t even notice if I hadn’t told you…. Total weight is 244.6 grams.
