This listing is for an incredible vintage squash blossom necklace made of sterling silver and natural turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 24 photos. The last 3 photos show necklace on a 5 foot 8 inch tall, size 4 model/mannequin. This large vintage squash features a cluster design of natural turquoise stones set in sterling silver. It’s beautifully crafted and weighs in at over 190 grams. The old stones still have amazing color qualities of vivid blue to blue green with subtle matrixes running throughout. All of the stones are in great condition while resting tight and secure in their bezels. One of the blossom stones has a crack on the tip of the stone, so it’s hard to see it. Twisted rope and silver droplets accompany the stones making for a classic Navajo design. The Naja is large with 2 stones dangling at the center. The 12 blossoms carry triple fluted petals made with a thick heavy gauge silver, making them strong and solid. The pearls are all handcrafted and strung on a braided foxtail chain with a hook and eye clasp at each end. There is no sterling stamp or signature which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry.
