CARICO LAKE TURQUOISE PENDANT IN STERLING SILVER. High grade High quality premium turquoise! Bought this about 20 yrs ago from SUNWEST SILVER. This is totally exquisite! Because of it being limited, it is considered a rare turquoise. The colors are in a range of electric greens to sky blue. This pendant is an example of that! This is serious hard equity with its valuable turquoise and heavy silver. The Navajo are master skilled silver workers. This pendant celebrates their talent in the setting they made surrounding the gorgeous stones. All of the huge nuggets are set in bezel with rope design and beaded silver. Fully finished on the back with the Native Navajo marks. This has a HUGE bail, any necklace or kerchief you add will fit nicely on the pendant. The silver has been allowed to finish in the natural patina, the silver on the outside can definitely be shined up. No harsh chemicals should ever be used by anything set in sterling silver. I use hargartys silver cleaner. I have not ever polished this piece, just kept it in a non tarnish jewelry box. I collected beautiful rocks with passion.
