Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition, with original stone and naturally aged dark patina, ready to wear or display. This vintage Navajo cuff features a single turquoise stone centered over a wide shank of solid silver adorned with overlay silver work and hand stampings. The stone rests securely in a finely etched sawtooth bezel, portraying light blue undertones with heavy dark spiderwebbed matrixes. Following the stone on each side are highly detailed silver works of coiled rods, droplets, and raised leaf appliqués. The silver work is done at the highest level of craftsmanship with each side mirroring each other in near perfect symmetry. The design is finished with hand stampings running along the the edges of the shank in a curved formation until reaching the ends where heavier detailed stampings appear. The shank is solid and hearty leaving hardly any give at the gap so reading the measurements and measuring your wrist is a must before purchasing. The Artist’s signature is present along the inside as well as a sterling stamp. The silver has been tested and proves to be solid silver. This Navajo piece was created at the highest level of craftsmanship and it shows. It will be a favorite addition amongst any existing collection of fine Native American jewelry.
