Native American Zuni Sterling Silver & Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace and Earring Set. This vintage Native American sterling silver and needlepoint Sleeping Beauty turquoise squash blossom necklace and earring set was handmade by Zuni Master Native Female Silversmith Artist, Eleanor Weeka. The petite double-strand bench bead necklace is strung with twelve squash blossom pendants. The naja and pendants are adorned with cluster needlepoint turquoise stones. The closure is a traditional eye & hook clasp. The necklace comes with a matching pair of squash blossom earrings. The necklace measures 24 inches long and the naja pendant measures 1-3/4 inches wide by just under 1-3/4 inches tall. The total weight of the necklace and earrings is 73.3 grams. This necklace and earring set is in excellent vintage condition. I examined each piece for flaws and found nothing to report. All stones are intact, all joints and fastenings look sound. I have handled a fair amount of Southwest Native American jewelry over the years, and this set is equal to the most delicately beautiful and masterfully designed jewelry I have ever seen.
