MAGNIFICENT SIGNED VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAJO MORENCI TURQUOISE STERLING SILVER BOLO TIE OLD up for sale is this fabulous vintage Navajo silver bolo tie. The large rich darling Darlene turquoise stone is surrounded with silver rope and impressive handstamped designs as this trapezoid shape bolo comes to life! It has a black braided tie with 2-1/8″ silver tips and is about 38″ in length. The center stone measures around 13mm x7mm Signed Bennett Sterling silver, marked. The bolo measures around 1″¾x1″½ Sturdy 37.5 grams. Great addition to your collection Darling Darlene. Named for the beloved daughter who died as a young woman, Darling Darlene was discovered and mined by Joe Barredo and his son-in-law in the early 70’s. Hard, gem quality turquoise in a color range from light and dark blue to greens come out of this mine, producing another wonderful collectible turquoise from Nevada. Today the mine is part of a gold mining operation.
