Opinions vary but is suggested after 1932. Most Native American items from 1930’s and before would not have a Sterling or 925 stamp or a Artist hallmark. There are exceptions to this. Some items made in the 1940’s-1950’s may have used the Sterling stamp. In general the Sterling and or “925” stamp with a artist hallmark since the 1950’s was and is still used today. PICTURES:Please note that 99.9% of our photos are enlarged for better viewing and not the actual size. All of our pics are cropped to get a best view of the item from different angles. The pics are also lightened or darkened in order to show the item clearly. We also use clarity to bring out the best color the item will have. Some think this is deceptive. If you would like a picture of the item without any cropping just let us know and I will be glad to do it. All items are Vintage or Antique. Because of the wear and age these items will almost always have chips, fading of metal , and wear in different areas. If we miss something it will be accidental and we hope you will see it in the pics. Age and wear adds a lot of character to many pieces. All Sterling items (even when marked sterling /925) are acid tested to confirm they are actually sterling. When we sell a item as sterling we guarantee 100% that it’s sterling.
