This is a gorgeous, vintage Navajo OLD PAWN sterling silver bracelet. There are 7 turquoise stones. Four of them have hairline fractures. Three of the stones are split in areas not to where they will fall out. The turquoise is in various shades of blue & green. The silver has a light patina. Total weight of the bracelet is 73.4grams/47.1dwt. The bracelet measures 2-3/8″ inner diameter, 1″ depth at center, 5.5″ inner circumference, 1-1/8″ opening at back. There is no visible damage. Typical vintage wear is expected. Please see the enlarged pictures to help determine actual condition. While the many kinds of turquoise stones have obvious characteristics, a single mine can produce stones of various color, hardness & matrix. It is also possible for separate mines to produce similar looking material. Many “experts” can disagree on particular stones & the mines they originated from. Unless you are the miner of the stone, or were present when the stone was mined, it is very difficult to verify the mine that it originated from. We are making our best educated guess using our knowledge & research of Native American turquoise jewelry. You can trust that these stones were mined in the United States (not China) and that they are in 100% hand-made Native American jewelry, most of which is vintage.
