
























This listing is for a vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace, handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise. The asking price is well below todays market/retail value and firm. NOTE: Please view all 24 photos. The last 4 photos show necklace on a 5 foot 8 inch tall, size 4 model/mannequin. This vintage squash is beautifully crafted, in excellent condition, and Perfect for daily wear! It was crafted at a high level of craftsmanship and weighs in at a sturdy yet, wearable weight of 175 grams. The 18 semi-free form stones feature Kingman’s signature blue hue with black chert matrixes evenly distributed throughout. When looking closely, subtle specks of shimmery pyrite and quartz are also visible. NOTE: listing photos 5 through 13 represent the true colors of the stones the best. Each stone is in perfect condition and sits tightly bezeled with a high polished finish. Twisted rope surrounds each stone followed by a thick border of silver adorned with beautiful ornate silver work.. The silver work is nicely executed on this squash and screams “Classic Navajo”. 8 stones make up the large solid piece Naja while the 10 blossoms feature triple fluted petals made of heavy gauge sterling silver. The handcrafted pearls are in beautiful shape and strung on a braided foxtail chain (my personal favorite) with the original hook and eye clasp at each end. A sterling stamp is present on the back of the Naja along with the Artist’s initials. The silver has also been tested and we guarantee the metal content to be. This eye catching statement piece will be a new favorite amongst any collection. It lays over the chest at a perfect length and is sure to be SEEN and admired from afar. Naja Measurements – The Naja measures 3-1/4″ wide by just under 3-1/4″ tall. Blossom Measurements – The 10 blossoms measure 1-1/2″ long by just over 3/4″ wide. Stone Measurements – The largest stone is centered in the Naja and measures 7/8″ long by 5/8″ wide. The smallest stones are in the last blossom on each side and measure just under 5/8″ long by 7/16″ wide. Pearl Measurements – The pearls measure anywhere between 7.5 and 8 millimeters wide at the seam. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed. Signed by Artist – YES, Stamped with initials NE for an unidentified Artist. Later-Mid Century, 1970’s +.
