This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, handcrafted with Sterling Silver, Turquoise, and Coral. NOTE: Please view all 21 photos. Last 4 photos show cuff on a 6-1/8 wrist. This large vintage cuff features a classic Navajo design of a turquoise stone centered over a dark bed of oxidized silver. Silver droplets and raised leaf appliqués surround the stone creating a shadowbox effect while snake eye corals follow on each side. The turquoise has a beautiful bright shade of blue with green undertones and subtle matrixes while the corals have a signature ox-blood red hue. The stones rest tight and secure in their bezels showing no signs of damage however, the turquoise does have a slightly textured surface from the matrix inclusions. Scalloped fan-like appliqués with stampings and a large droplet rest at the side terminals. The triple shank is very thick and sturdy. The two outer shanks have a carinated design while the center shank is made of twisted rope. Inner end caps were applied for added support and a comfortable application to the wrist. The shanks are very sturdy with little flex however, adjusting the gap is possible with heavy force. There is no signature or sterling stamp, which is common of vintage Navajo jewelry. Inside Measurement (End to End) – The cuff measures 5-1/4 around the inside, from end to end. Gap – The gap measures 1-1/4.. This is a solid cuff but, the gap can be adjusted with careful force. Total Size of Cuff Including Gap – The cuff has a total size of 6-1/2″ and should fit a wrist between 6″ and 6-1/2 comfortably. Face/Shank Measurements – At front center the face measures 2″ tall by 2-1/4″ wide (width measured from coral to coral). The shanks slowly taper down to rounded edges at each end. Stone Measurements – The turquoise measures 7/8″ long by 3/4″ wide and the corals measure 1/4 wide. Signed By Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. 925 sterling silver guaranteed.
