Their jewelry is INIMITABLE. The medallion is 5″ wide/high and 3 1/4″ long. It is a spectacular piece. The fantastic trip of the turtles… The Chavez created a mysterious world full of colors, mysterious greens, earthy browns. And in the center the turtles meet in a bright circle illuminated by the red sun. The more you admire it, the more mystic it gets! It is easy to get engulfed in the turquoise power and turtles path. Each turquoise has its own character, its own shade of green, from the almost pale to the teal… And the carved turtle in a bluer turquoise, the hero of the story! The color combination – blue, green, red and tan silver – and the combination of materials – natural stone, polished sterling and brut leather- make for an OUTSTANDING piece. The leather band is IDEAL for the medallion. It is SUPPLE, SOFT with a smooth feel on the skin. It is a wonderful latigo leather, pliable, with a warm feel. It has a medium brown tone, earthy, reminding of the matrix turning to gold on some turquoise. The leather band has a hint of distressed style and raw edges. It is between 2″ and 4″ wide. Its individual shape is adapted to the medallion, wider in the middle… And to the wrist, tapered on the sides.. Furthermore it does not take 10 people or a fight to close it. It is ultra simple with the round “bead”. The 2 holes in the leather band are placed at 6.5″ and 7.5″ to fit a small wrist, around 5 3/4, and a medium wrist. Because the sterling silver and turquoise medallion is a unique piece of jewelry all by itself, it CAN EASILY BE REMOVED..
