This listing is for a vintage Navajo Squash Blossom Necklace, handcrafted from Sterling Silver, Turquoise, and Coral. NOTE: Please view all 23 photos. Last 4 photos show necklace on a 5’8 tall size 4 model/mannequin. This vintage Squash was handcrafted during the later-mid century by an unknown Navajo Artist. The necklace features a classic squash design using high grade spiderweb Turquoise and Mediterranean Coral. It’s beautifully crafted with sterling silver and weighs in at a nice wearable weight of just under 140 grams. Each stone is in excellent vintage condition, showing no signs of damage, while sitting tight and secure. The Naja has a unique design being made with two thick shanks and a cluster of turquoise stones dangling from the center. The 10 blossoms carry 3 stones each with curling leaf appliqués, twisted rope, silver droplets, and triple fluted petals. The pearls are free from dents and strung on a brand new silver wire with the original hook and eye clasp at each end. The silver work was superbly executed on this squash at the highest level of craftsmanship. Truly beautiful work that will not disappoint! There is no signature or sterling stamp which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry however, the silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of. This beautiful squash will be a great addition to any vintage collection. It’s the perfect size for daily wear, the spiderwebbed turquoise is stunning, and the design is very unique.
