He learned to silversmith in 1962 when his wife wanted a squash blossom necklace. At a Christmas party, Mrs. Maisel asked where she got the necklace and his told her that her husband made it. From there upon request from Mrs. Maisel, Kenneth went to work for the Maisels. Kenneth also worked for Carl Louthy, Navajo. Since then, he and his wife, have been making sterling silver and turquoise jewelry that has been a favorite with collecters. Kenneth was extremely talented and draws out his new free-flowing designs first on paper before creating in silver. Each piece is designed around the stone. His style varies from hand stamped and repousse to some of his most unique pieces Kenneth passed away February 13, 2014.
