This listing features a vintage Navajo ring, handcrafted with Sterling Silver and Natural High Grade Turquoise. Handcrafted in the later-mid century by Navajo Artist J. Nelson, this vintage ring features a natural Turquoise stone set in sterling silver. The stone sits securely in a straight bezel, surrounded by deeply set twisted rope followed by a raised carinated border adorned with hand-sawed cutouts. The stone has incredible color qualities of rich greens with dark green spiderweb matrixes. Natural inclusions of orange colored pitting travel across the stone’s surface along with a polished finish. The texturized surface gives off a beautiful organic look and feel to the ring making for a classic Navajo piece. The back of the ring has a triple split shank, in perfect round condition. It’s a very thick and solid shank that can’t be bent out of shape easily. There is a sterling stamp next to the Artist’s signature along the inner shank.. The silver has also been tested and proves to be sterling. This classic Navajo ring will make a great addition to any vintage collection.
