This vintage turquoise & sterling silver squash blossom necklace is in very good condition with no damage, but it does have some light scratches (it’s clean, but a light polishing wouldn’t hurt). The 13 1/4 long necklace contains 10 blossoms and 5 small pieces of blue turquoise. The only marking I can find on the necklace is the word STERLING on the back of the the crescent pendant or’Naja’. The total weight of the necklace is 185 grams or 6.5 ounces. If you’re ever in NW Connecticut, stop by my shop A STEP BACK IN TIME at 458 Main St. (open 6 days-closed Tuesday). I was recently asked if the turquoise is real or block (synthetic) turquoise. I have to say, I’m afraid I don’t know which it is (please zoom or enlarge the close up photo [#7] of the Naja for a better look at the turquoise-it does have some small nicks if that means anything). Also, the length of the necklace alone (without the naja) is 10 1/4. The Naja itself measures 2 1/4″ wide x 2 3/4″ long (the length measurement includes the loop on the top on the Naja). I mistakenly listed the overall length as 13 1/4 in my description. It’s actually 13. The item “VTG.
